- 1 1/2 pound fresh broccoli or possibly 2 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced broccoli
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. light cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Инструкции
- Wash and chop broccoli. Cook in small amount of salted water till tender. Heat butter in a heavy saucepan. Add in onion and cook till tender. Stir in flour. Slowly add in broth and cream, stirring constantly. Cook and stir till thickened. Add in salt, nutmeg and cooked broccoli. Just before serving, stir in cheese. Serves 6.
