- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. brandy

- Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add in butter and boiling water. Mix well and cook together 6 min or possibly till clear. Add in brandy after you remove saucepan from heat.
- Serve hot over cake or possibly pudding. 8 to 10 servings.
