- 2/3 c. Shortening
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. Mashed Bananas
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1 3/4 c. All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Dry Apricots, minced Mixed With 1 Tbsp. Flour
Инструкции
- In large bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
- Beat in Large eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Blend in bananas and lemon juice.
- Mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Blend into banana mix; stir in apricots.
- Turn into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
- Bake in 325 degree oven 1 hour and 10 to 20 min, or possibly till cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from pan and cold.
- Sift confectioners' sugar over top, if you like, before serving.
