- 1 c. Apples, pared, coarsely minced, 1 medium
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 c. Whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Packed dark brown sugar
- 4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 x Egg
- 1/4 c. Margarine, melted
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

- Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease 14-16 muffin c.. Toss apple with lemon juice in small bowl. Stir together flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking pwdr and salt till well mixed. Whisk lowfat milk, egg and melted margarine. pour over flour mix. Add in apples. Gently stir just to moisten. Spoon into prepared muffin pans. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle over dough. Bake at 400 F. for 20-25 min. Remove from c..
- Cold on wire rack. Reheat at 325 F . for a few min.
