Hmmmm I don't know what to write here.... I guess I'm most proud of being a dad to my three little girls. I've always loved to cook and now I love it more as I'm teaching my girls too. I always thought I could cook, then I started working at Rouxbe and I realized how little I really knew.
That's the day job for now. I'm a producer at Rouxbe making video's to teach the world to cook better. Producer in a start up company just means you do lots of things as we all wear many hats in our small little studio. It may be one of the hardest most demanding jobs I've ever done but it's also the most gratify too.
I used to work on film and TV shows here in Vancouver and people often think that's a great gig. I much prefer when we say "That's a wrap" at Rouxbe because you get to eat the star. They never let us do that on any of the TV shows I worked on.

- 23 мая 2010I love it...pretty cute..."eat the star"..that kind of wit tells me a lot about you! I think I would really love to meet you some day if I ever get to Canada or you to CA!
I have a lot of French in me-be it from France or French Canadian with the "Le Pore" name I have and also in the "Hart" name, which was my mother's.
I love the zeal you take to what you do and you are a lot like me in many ways.
We would get along well. :-)
Sincerely,
Paulette Le Pore Motzko
I was just advertising my cooking blog, "Cooking Up A Storm All Over The World" in about 4 languages. It should bring in people submitting recipes from Italy, France, Greece and Thailand. Those are good starts anyhow. :-)
Should be interesting to see what kind of postings and new members show up on my cooking site.
I look forward to reading your newest posts.
If there are any you specifically want me to see, send them to me and make a note with it.
Your CA friend,
Paulette Le Pore Motzko
Polly Motzko - 15 февраля 2010I guess being in the center of the storm seems good from outside. LOL. I'm looking forward to finding some more authentic Indian recipes myself. Cheers,
