I cook everything but my favorites are Japanese, French, & Italian. My background is half Japanese & French Canadian, which explains why food is such a big part of my life. Both cultures love to it & see eating as a pleasure of life instead of a necessity.
I have briefly worked in professional kitchens as a line cook & a sous-chef. I've also spent 8 years of my life living in Japan & South East Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand) where I learned so much about food, spices, and flavor combinations.
