Инструкции

  1. Simmer chicken breasts in sufficient water to cover. Cook 10 to 18 min till no pink remains. Drain, remove skin and cube chicken, set aside.
  2. Heat butter in medium saucepan. Saute/fry onion and peppers till softened. Stir in the flour. Cook for a minute. Add in salt, oregano, lowfat milk and broth slowly while stirring. Continue stirring and cook till mix has thickened. Add in the cubed chicken. Pour into a round baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking pwdr and salt. Beat in the egg, lowfat milk and melted butter. Stir in the cheese. Pour over chicken mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min or possibly till crust is golden. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
  4. (1/2 c. frzn corn can be added to chicken mix. Saute/fry corn with onion and peppers.)
