- 1 Tbsp. Finely diced red onion
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Chopped seeded jalapeno
- 2 Tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 c. Fresh basil chiffonade
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly grnd black pepper to taste
Инструкции
- Combine the tomato, onion, jalapeno, vinegar, basil and extra virgin olive oil. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill for up to 1 day. Bring to room temperature before serving. Serve any extra salsa in a bowl in the center of the table.
- This recipe yields about 1 1/2 c. of salsa.
