Рецепт Tex-Mex Pasta Bake
Use any pasta you want for this easy prep casserole.
Ингредиенты
- 12 oz. cooked, lightly salted pasta, tossed with a bit of olive oil or butter
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 C water
- 1 small can mild green chiles
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 14. 5 oz. can fire roasted tomatoes, drained
- 15 oz can red enchilada sauce - if you want less heat, use tomato sauce, instead
- 2 C Mexican cheese blend, or pepper Jack, divided.
- optional: 6-8 oz. cubed Velveeta
- garnish: black olives, cilantro, chopped scallions
Инструкции
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook beef, drain, and set aside.
- Cook onions until golden brown.
- Line a 9x13 pan with foil for easy clean up.
- Put the pasta in the pan.
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients together, holding back 1 C of the cheese and the Velveeta.
- Pour on top of the pasta, and press it down.
- Dot the top with Velveeta and rest of cheese.,
- Cover and bake 20 minutes.
- Remove the cover and bake another 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let sit 15-20 minutes.
- Top with garnishes and serve.
