- 1/8 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- Separate large eggs. Beat white till frothy and light. Don't overbeat, white should be very liquid and shouldn't reach a stage where a peak will hold.Fold all ingredients together and beat only till smooth.
- Dip fish in flour, then dip into tempura batter. Fry in hot oil.
- Serves 4.
