- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. shelled raw sunflower seeds

- In mixing bowl, stir together flour and salt. Cut in flour with pastry blender till mix resembles fine crumbs. Beat in cottage cheese till smooth. Stir in sunflower seeds. Divide dough in half. Roll on floured surface to 16x12 inches. Cut in 2-inch squares. Prick each square several times with a fork. Place on ungreased baking sheet till golden brown at 325 degrees for 18 to 20 min.Or possibly drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Flatten and bake.
