  •     Strawberries 2 kg 4 lb
  •     Sugar 1.5 kg 3 lb
  •     citric acid 1 tsp 1 tsp
  •     grape tannin 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
  •     water 4.5 litres 1 imperial gallon (4 quarts)
  •     yeast & nutrient

Инструкции

  1. Stem & wash fruit. Mash berries well, mix with sugar and 2 litres (2 quarts) water. Leave for 24-36 hrs; strain into fermenting jar. Add in 1 litre (1 quart) to pulp, mix well, strain again immediately. Add in acid, tannin, yeast nutrient & yeast; make up to 4.5 litres (1 gal) with cool water. Stir thoroughly, fit airlock & continue as usual. This wine should be matured for 1 year (minimum).
