Рецепт Spinach Casserole
Delicious side dish combining chopped spinach with a Parmesan cheese sauce.
Ингредиенты
- 10 oz. box chopped spinach, thawed
- 2 tbs. butter
- 2-3 scallions, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 large beaten eggs
- 2 tbs. flour
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 2/3 cup half and half
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Italian Cheese Blend, or your choice
- paprika
Инструкции
- Heat oven to 375 F.
- Press thawed spinach between paper towels to remove moisture.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add onions. Saute a few minutes over medium low heat. Remove from the heat.
- Add flour to the sour cream.
- Beat eggs with 1/2 of the cheese, Parmesan, and half and half in a bowl. Add all other ingredients, combine.
- Pour into a greased 8 " baking pan, or 1 1/2 qt. baking dish.
- Bake 45-50 minutes.
- Top with Italian cheese and paprika, turn off the oven.
- Remove in 5 minutes, let stand a few minutes before serving.
