- 1 c. salad oil
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon instant horseradish
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 T salt
- 2 T celery seed
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 lbs. cabbage head, minced or possibly shredded
- 1 pound red cabbage head, minced or possibly shredded
- 1 red pepper, minced
- 2 green peppers, minced
- 1 lg. onion, diced or possibly grated
- 1 carrot, grated (optional)

- Put together the first 8 ingredients; boil rapidly for 1 minute. Mix thoroughly and add in to mixed vegetables. Chill several hrs before serving.
