- 4-5 pound beef brisket
- 5 ounce. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 can beef consomme

- Place brisket in dish. Combine other ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate for 24 hrs. Reserve 1/4 to 1/2 c. of marinade; pour off the rest. Place brisket along with reserved marinade in foil, wrap. Cook in shallow baking dish for 4-5 hrs at 300 degrees.
