This is a very nice dish. I make a similar dish, but always use the shrimp shells (if I'm lucky enough to have the fresh) to make a stock, then just use that as the flavour base.
Oh, and white wine is not an option, it's a must! That way the cook gets her share too, lol!

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 small onion-diced
- 6 garlic cloves-minced
- 1/2 orange bell pepper-diced (or use whatever color you like)
