Bangus or milkfish is the national fish in the Philippines. There are a lot of ways to cook bangus. Today, I will share with you sauteed bangus. Try it and you'll eat it with much gusto.

- 1 kilo milkfish cut into butterfly fillet
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp calamansi or lemon juice
- dash of white pepper
- 1/2 tsp white sugar
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic
- 1 sliced onion
- 1 ripe tomato sliced
- Chicken longganisa(sausage) sauce:
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups water
- 2 pcs chicken longganisa cut into small lengthwise
- salt and pepper to taste
Инструкции
- Marinate fish in salt, pepper, sugar and lemon juice for 1 hour.Set aside.
- In a skillet, saute onion, garlic and tomato until wilted and push to one side and fry the marinated fish until brown. Set aside.
- Prepare longganisa sauce.
- Stir all-purpose flour with water until the mixture is smooth.
- In another skillet, fry the chicken longganisa in butter and pour the flour mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper and pour over fried fish. Arrange the sauteed garlic-tomato-onion mixture over the fish and serve hot.
