- 1.75 lb (800 g) leg of lamb
- 8 garlic cloves
- 1.7 ounce (5 cl) oil
- 3.5 ounce (10 cl) sesame oil
- 1.7 ounce (5 cl) soy sauce
- 1.7 ounce (5 cl) rice wine
- 5 sprigs coriander
- 5 sprigs sweet basil
- 2 tsp. corn starch
- Salt, black pepper

- Slice lamb
- Strip leaves and coarsely chop coriander and sweet basil
- Peel garlic cloves and slice thinly
- Mix rice wine, sauce soy and sesame oil in mixing bowl
- Mix well to achieve a smooth mix
- Add in lamb slices and mix into marinade well
- Allow to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature
- Heat oil in frying pan or possibly wok over very high heat
- Remove slices from marinade and toss into frying pan
- Brown while stirring vigorously for 1 minutes
- Add in garlic and rest of marinade
- Brown for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring vigorously
- Add in coriander and sweet basil
- Sauté another minutes
- Salt and pepper
- Immediately serve very warm, accompanied by Basmati rice or possibly glutinous rice.
