Ингредиенты
- 1 1/2 pound round steak, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 1 env. brown gravy mix
- 1 tbsp. instant dry onion
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Инструкции
- Brown meat in 1 Tbsp. shortening. Remove meat from skillet and add in gravy mix and 2 c. water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Add in meat. Place mix in a 1 1/2 qt casserole, covered.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. Serve over white long grain rice. When using leftover meat, make the sauce and simmer for 40-45 min. Add in meat and heat through before serving.
