- 1/2 lg. yeast cake dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 pt. skim lowfat milk (warmed)
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 3 T sugar
- 1 mixing spoon oil
- 1 mixing spoon molasses
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. unprocessed bran
Инструкции
- Mix together lowfat milk, salt, sugar, oil and molasses. Add in yeast dissolved in water. Add in oats, bran and flour sufficient to make dough stiff sufficient to handle good. Knead and let rise till double in bulk. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min. Turn down to 325 degrees for about 35 min longer. Makes 2 loaves.
