- 2 c. sliced peeled apples
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 Tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1Â 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c. nuts, minced
- Â Â raisins, optional
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla

- Mix sugar and apples together, let set until melted. Add in egg and oil and beat well. Add in dry ingredients and pour in 9-inch square loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees until done (approximately 40 min). Immediately cover with cooked warm sauce or possibly topping. May be topped with a little coconut.
- This cake will be real moist and will not dry out so quickly. For a big loaf pan size double the recipe.
