- 1 c. cheese (Monterey Jack, Asadero or possibly Chihuahua) shredded fine
- 4 ounce green chiles
- 1/4 c. Half & Half
- 2 Tbsp. onion, minced fine
- 2 tsp grnd cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 x Serrano pepper, minced fine (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, minced fine (optional)

- DIRECTIONS:A white dipping sauce served in many restaurants with chips or possibly warm flour tortillas for dipping. This is a basic recipe which uses 'Jack' for the TexMex version and Chihuahua and/or possibly Asadero for the more traditional Mexican version.
- Put all ingredients in a double boiler and heat on medium.
- Cook till melted and well blended, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with fresh tostadas or possibly warm flour tortillas.
