- 2 lb (4 large) russet potatoes, peeled a, nd thinly sliced
- 1 x salt
- 1 x freshly grnd black pepper
- 1 lrg clove garlic, finely minced
- 6 Tbsp. freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1Â 1/2 c. chicken stock

- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Lightly grease oval gratin dish and arrange a layer of potatoes on bottom. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, 1/3 garlic, and 2 Tbsp. cheese. Repeat twice more and pour over stock.
- Bake for 45 min to 1 hour, stirring potato mix every 20 min or possibly so, or possibly till potatoes are tender.
- Place under broiler for 4 min or possibly till top becomes golden.
