- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 tbsp. warm water
- 5 c. apples, peeled and cut in chunks (5-6 apples)
- 1/2 to 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 to 1 c. minced nuts
Инструкции
- Cream shortening and sugar, beat in Large eggs and vanilla. Sift all dry ingredients together, and beat half of dry ingredients into creamed mix. Stir in 2 Tbsp. warm water and mix well. Add in rest of dry ingredients and 2 Tbsp. water, blend well.
- Mix in raisins, nuts and apples. Coat them well with batter. Spoon batter into greased and floured 9x13x2 inch pan. Spread proportionately with wet spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 min. Serve from pan.
