  1. 1. Generously butter a 9x13-inch baking dish. Fill dish with bread slices so dish is completely covered with bread and filled to the top.
  2. 2. Mix lowfat milk, half-and-half, Large eggs, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon in a large bowl. Pour over bread. Chill, covered, overnight.
  3. 3. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Remove toast from refrigerator and uncover.
  4. For topping, mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Stir in pecans.
  5. Dollop proportionately over bread slices. Bake, uncovered, till puffed and golden brown, about 40 min. Let stand 5 min before serving.
  6. Makes 6-8servings.
