- 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 pound pecans
- 1 c. well - liquid removed maraschino cherries
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 pkg. dates, cut up
- 3 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

- Put flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt in sifter. Combine dates, cherries and nuts in a large bowl. Sift dry mix over this and stir into mix. Combine Large eggs and vanilla and stir into mix. Bake in loaf pan at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 min. Check after 1 hour and 10 min.
