Ingredients: 1 c. Sifted cake flour; 1 tsp Baking pwdr; 1/4 tsp Salt; 1/2 c. Sugar; 1/2 c. Shortening; 1 tsp Grated lemon rind; 2 x Large eggs, unbeaten; 4 x Peeled ripe peaches; 1/3 c. Sugar; 1/2 tsp Cinnamon; 1/4 c. Minced walnuts or possibly pecans

1 c. Sifted cake flour
1 tsp Baking pwdr
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Shortening
1 tsp Grated lemon rind
2 x Large eggs, unbeaten
4 x Peeled ripe peaches
1/3 c. Sugar
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 c. Minced walnuts or possibly pecans

Инструкции

Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt. Beat 1/2 c. sugar with shortening till light and creamy. Add in lemon rind, then Large eggs, one at a time; beat well. Add in flour in fourths, beating after each addition. Spread half of batter in greased 8x8 inch pan. Top with peaches. Mix 1/3 c. sugar, cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over all. Bake 50 min at 350 degrees. Serve hot, cut into squares and top with whipped cream, if you like.
