  • 4 c. Day old bread cubes
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Almond extract
  • 1 can Peach pie filling

  1. Heat oven to 350. Spread bread cubes into greased 9" square pan. Whisk together Large eggs, lowfat milk, sugar and extract. Stir in 1 C. of the pie filling.
  2. Pour over bread cubes, pressing custard down into bread cubes with back of a spoon. Bake 30-40 min. Use knife test. Heat remaining pie filling and serve over top.
  3. Serving Ideas : Top with whipped cream or possibly pour over about 2 Tablespoons cream
  4. NOTES : may substitute apple pie filling
