- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1Â 1/2 c. half-and-half
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c. pecans coarsely minced
- 4 x Large eggs beaten
- 2 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
- 1 dsh nutmeg
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Generously butter a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan. Butter both sides of bread and place in baking pan, covering bottom of pan.
- In a bowl, toss pecans with brown sugar and distribute over bread. Drizzle corn syrup over pecans.
- In a bowl, mix Large eggs, vanilla, half-and-half, lowfat milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour proportionately over bread slices. Let baking pan rest 15 to 30 min before putting in the oven.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 min, till brown. Invert on serving tray, cut into squares and enjoy piping warm.
