Рецепт Okra - Peanut Fry !!!!
Fries !!! My hubby's fav... I usually don't go for fries as they consume lot of oil and time though!!! But my people always need some or the fries while having dal, sambar or rasam. So got to make one each day...And sometime i divert him giving some chips or some papads to skip this!!! And today as my main event is to make a recipe for lunch box.... I am posting okra fry which will take hardly 10-15 mins to prepare if the veggies are already chopped !!!!
Ингредиенты
- Okra/ ladys finger - 1/2 kg, chopped into half inch pieces
- Peanuts - 2- 3 table spoons
- Cashew nuts - 10-15, broken into halves (optional , i haven't added )
- Jeera - 1/2 tea spoon(cumin)
- Chilli powder - 1 table spoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 table spoons
Инструкции
- 1. Take a broad and deep non stick pan .. add the oil.
- 2. Now add the okra pieces , and fry on medium flame till okra gets fried and gives us a crispy texture.
- 3. Add the peanuts and cashew nuts and fry them for 3 minutes without browning...
- 4. After the nuts are fried drain the oil.
- 5. Add the crushed jeera , salt and chilli powder.. fry for 2 mins serve hot!!
