My love affair with oatmeal begins and ends with oatmeal raisin cookies. I love them more than chocolate chips, more than Snickerdoodles, more than Oreos, and I even love baking them, but that's where it ends for me and oatmeal. There is something about the aroma of cooking oatmeal that just doesn't sit well with me, and I've never been able to get past that.
