- 3 x Ripe nectarines, (or possibly peaches)
- 3 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1/3 c. Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/8 c. Cooking sherry or possibly from cupboard
- 1 x Lemon wedge, Juice of

- In a skillet, saute/fry peaches over medium heat for 1-1 1/2 min in butter or possibly margarine. Add in brown sugar and stir until dissolved with butter to create a glaze. Add in juice from lemon and the cooking sherry along with the cinnamon.
- Mix will begin to bubble. Stir smoothly and proportionately. If sauce appears too thick, add in more margarine or possibly sherry (alcohol will burn off). Remove and serve in a sauce dish and pour over ham when slices are served. Also, can be used as a baste while baking the ham. A unique taste treat. And do not forget ... this sauce is exceptional as well over ice cream for dessert.
- NOTES : Peaches work well too! This delightful sauce goes exceptionally well as a glaze (while baking) over baked ham or possibly as a light sauce topping over slices of ham or possibly a "perk-me-up" for leftovers.
