- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1Â 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2Â 1/4 c. Sifted cake flour
- 2Â 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Plus 2 tbsp. lowfat milk

- Stir shortening to soften. Gradually add in sugar and cream thoroughly for 10 min with your mixer set on HIGH speed. Add in vanilla. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour with baking pwdr and salt; add in to creamed mix alternatley with lowfat milk, beating after each addition. Bake in 2 paper lined 9x1 1/2 inch round pans in a 375 degree oven for 20 min.
