- Beat yolks of 4 Large eggs with 3/4 c. of sugar. Add in lemon and cook in a double boiler till thick. Beat 2 egg whites with 1/4 c. sugar and fold into cooked mix. Put in a baked pie crust (Mom always used 9" pie' plates) and cover with beaten whites of 2 Large eggs with 2 Tbls. sugar added. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min. Me ke aloha, Mary Spero
