- 2 c. Mincemeat recipe in cookbook
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca minute
- 2 x pie crust, homemade
- 1/4 tsp granulated sugar (to 1/2)
Инструкции
- Filling: Stir first 3 ingredients together in bowl.
- Crust: roll our pie crust on lightly floured surface. Line 9: pie plate. Turn filling into pie shell. roll out second crust. Dampen edge of first crust. Top with second crust. Trim. Crimp to seal. cut slits in top.
- Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 400iF. oven for 30 to 35 min till browned.
- Makes 1 Pie.
- Or possibly spoon filling into 36 tart shells. Filling is especially nice if filling if run through blender first. Bake at 400iF. for 20 min.

- NOTES : Mincement pie was made from venison when I was growing up, but unfortunately my hubby is not a hunter and my Mom forgot to write down her recipe, so this year (2000), I am going to try this recipe. Helen D.
