- 2 c. powdered sugar, not sifted
- 1 stk soft butter or possibly margarine (butter is better!)
- 1 x egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 x - 10" baked pie shell or possibly graham cracker crust
- 1 c. whipping cream*
- 1 c. crushed pineapple (minced finer in a blender and then liquid removed thoroughly)
- 1/2 c. minced pecans or possibly walnuts

- Cream together the powdered sugar and butter. Add in egg, salt and vanilla and beat together at high speed for 10-15 min. Spread in bottom of pie shell and chill. Whip the cream till stiff. Blend in the liquid removed pineapple and nuts.
- Spread over mix in pie shell and refrigerateagain. This pie freezes well.
- Note: You can use 8 (10 ounce) whipped topping instead of the whipping cream.
