- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2/3 c. long grain white rice

- In 2-qt microproof casserole, combine all ingredients except rice. Cook, covered, on high (maximum power) 5 min, or possibly till boiling. Stir in rice. Cook, covered, on 50 (simmer) 30 to 35 min, or possibly till rice is tender. Let stand, covered, 5 min before serving. 6 to 8 servings.
