- 1 lb Mild Italian Sausage
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lrg Onion Minced
- 3 x Cloves Garlic Chopped
- 8 med Mushrooms Sliced
- 1 x Rib Celery Diced Fine
- 1/4 x Green Bell Pepper Diced Fine
- 1 can Tomato Paste (6 ounce.)
- 2 can Tomato Sauce (15 ounce.)
- 1 Tbsp. Sweet Basil
- 1 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Parsley
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
Инструкции
- In a 4 qt pot over medium heat, brown and chop sausage very well.
- Remove sausage from pot. Add in the extra virgin olive oil to the pot, then the onion, celery and green bell pepper. SLOWLY saute/fry till onion just begins to brown. Add in the tomato paste and sauce and one tomato sauce can full of water. Stir to mix ingredients and add in sliced mushrooms and sausage. Stir to mix. Add in spices and stir to mix. Taste and adjust salt it needed.
- Bring to a boil (uncovered) then turn down the heat and simmer for about four (4) hrs. Stir every 30 min and add in water as needed.
