Southwestern style meatball Subs that have just a little bit of a kick :)

  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 1/2 c salsa, divided
  • 2 T vegetable oil
  • 1 c spaghetti sauce
  • 4-6 crusty rolls or sub buns
  • pepperjack cheese; shredded or sliced

Инструкции

  1. Combine hamburger, eggs, and tortilla chip crumbs. Mix in 1/2 c of salsa. Form into 1" balls, fry until browned in oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine remaining salsa with spaghetti sauce, add meatballs, and heat through.
  3. Toast buns, spoon in meatballs. Add cheese to top, bake until melted.
