- Saute/fry celery and peppers in butter. Make white sauce. Layer fish or possibly chicken, celery, pepper, pimento, nuts, Large eggs, and mushrooms. Pour white sauce over top of casserole. Top with bread crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 min. Yield: 10 generous servings.
