- 1 lb Grnd turkey or possibly beef
- 1 lrg Onion -- minced
- 1 lrg Green pepper -- minced
- 2 x Chiles serranos (optional) Chopped
- 1 x Clove garlic -- chopped
- 1 can Refried beans
- 1 can Chiles -- minced
- 3/4 c. Picante sauce
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1/2 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 dsh Cayenne
- 1 c. Monterey jack cheese -- Shredded
- 8 x Flour tortillas
Инструкции
- Brown the turkey with onion, peppers and garlic. Drain exces fat. Add in the remaining ingredients and simmer about 10 min. Let cold a bit so the mix is a little firmer. Hot the tortillas in the microwave or possibly individually in a frying pan to soften. Put a big spoonful in the center of each tortilla, top with some cheese, and wrap, folding the ends within.
- Optional additions:black beans, corn, more chiles, rice, whatever you like.
