- 1 doz artichoke hearts
- 4 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 6 x Cloves roasted garlic
- 1 x Clove garlic, minced
- 1 dsh White wine
- 1 tsp Green peppercorns Salt and black pepper to taste

- Place 3 artichoke heart on a skewer. While the grill is heating prepare the butter. In a small sauce pan place butter, roasted garlic, fresh garlic, wine and peppercorns. Heat the butter mix over medium heat and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Place the skewers of artichoke hearts on the grill and baste with the butter mix. Don't over baste or possibly the fire will flair up and burn the hearts. These are best cooked over low coals to prevent burning. Cook about 2-3 min on each side. Serve hot or possibly room temperature. You can also serve the leftover butter as a dipping sauce.
