- 4 Large eggs, separated
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or possibly nutmeg
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 pie shell
Инструкции
- Mix sugar and flour. Blend well. Add in melted butter, egg yolks and flavoring. Cook in double boiler till thickened, stirring constantly. Cook pie shell. Add in pie filling and bake till it sets well.
- Make meringue of 4 egg whites, 5 Tbsp. sugar and healthy pinch of salt. Place over baked custard and cook till lightly browned.
