- 3 c. Whole Lowfat milk
- 1/4 tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
- 1 x Vanilla bean, split in half
- 1 c. Heavy cream
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 9 x Egg Yolks
Инструкции
- Put lowfat milk, garlic, and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl blend cream, sugar, and egg yolks. Strain the scalded lowfat milk mix into the egg and sugar mix, stirring constantly.
- Return the combined mix to the pan and stir continuously over moderate heat till it coats the back of a spoon, 10-15 min. Cold in an ice bath.
- Freeze till hard.
