- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 2/3 c. Vegetable oil
- 1 c. Sugar (or possibly a little more)
- 3 x Large eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c. Friendship starter
- 1 1/2 x -(up to)
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt

- the "King Arthur Flour 200th Anniversary Cookbook".
- Friendship Starter: Blend well in a glass or possibly ceramic bowl. Cover with plastic and let it work for at least 24 hrs.
- Friendship Cake: Preheat oven to 350 F. Beat the oil, sugar, Large eggs and vanilla till light. Add in the starter and beat till smooth. Blend the dry ingredients together and then fold into the wet mix. Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.
