Ингредиенты
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 1/4 c. flour -- sifted
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c. coconut
- 1 x recipe butter frosting
Инструкции
- Beat shortening in mixer bowl.
- Sift in flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt.
- Add in 2/3 c. lowfat milk mixing till moistened.
- Beat at high speed for 2 min.
- Add in.. remaining 1/3 c. lowfat milk, Large eggs and vanilla.
- Bake for 2 min longer.
- Stir in 1 c. coconut.
- Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
- bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or possibly till cakes test done; cold.
- Stir . remaining 1 c. coconut into butter frosting.
- Spread between layers and over top and side of cake.
