  1. Mix up the crust ingredients and smooth 'em over the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Now bake which crust at 375 degrees for about 8 min. Now let it cold down. Mix up the gelatin, 1/2 c. sugar and salt in a suacepan. Now beat up the Large eggs, lime juice and water together and stir it into the gelatin mix. Now cook it over medium heat, stirring, just till the mix comes to a boil. Now remove it from the heat. Now fold in the lime peel and green food coloring. Only put in sufficient food coloring to give it a light green color, probably a couple of drops. Now chill, stirring occasionally till mix thickens. Now beat the egg whites, and gradually add in the sugar, beating it till it gets stiff. Now mix in gelatin mix and the cream. Pile all this into the shell, and refrigeratetill hard. Before serving top it with some additional whipped cream. Now trim it up with the grated lime peel. Be sure and serve this one to your out-of-town visitors for a big hit!
