- 2 med. cans Hunt's tomato sauce
- 1 sm. can Hunt's tomato paste
- 1 box fresh mushrooms, washed and cleaned
- 1 med. onion, minced fine
- 1 pound extra lean grnd beef
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Put tomato sauce and tomato paste in a large pot. Add in 1 small can water and remaining ingredients to pot. Cover and simmer on low for 2 1/2 to 3 hrs.
- The secret to this sauce is which the grnd beef actually cooks in the tomato sauce. Don't brown beef in advance. This sauce is rich.
