Easy prep and something a little different for the holidays. It also is great slathered on pork loin and roasted 25 minutes per pound.

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 bag (12 oz.) whole cranberries
- optional: pecans or walnuts

- Put everything on a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
- Let cool, then refrigerate.
