- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 T unsalted butter
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
Инструкции
- 1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.2. Blend in butter.
- 3. Add in buttermilk and mix to dough (gradually add in).
- 4. Roll 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick round on floured bread board and cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter.
- 5. Place in pan so biscuits are 1/2 inch from sides. Bake 12-14 min. Either eat hot from pan or possibly wrap in a towel and allow to cool 15 min.
- Makes about a dozen 2 1/2 inch biscuits.
